In March we successfully conducted the first of our three planned “MoSI” (which stands for overwinter survival monitoring in Spanish) bird banding pulses for 2025! As you may already know, we conducted three pulses last year, and have compiled a summary of the data collected. We are committed to ensuring that our data supports science and conservation efforts throughout the region and country. As you can see in the video below, we are also using our bird banding space as a powerful environmental education tool by inviting local children to observe and learn!
