At Finca Cántaros, we host researchers and interns throughout the year throughout the year on a case by case basis, in keeping with the specific projects, capacity and needs of the organization at a particular time. If you are interested in collaborating with us on your research, or in volunteering for our existing research projects and outreach programs, please send your CV and professional/academic interests to info@fincacantaros.org.
Cost of entry: by donation upon entry (cash, SINPE or PayPal), a minimum of 2,500 colones. If you would like to visit outside of regular operating hours the minimum donation is 5,000 colones. We are a small staff so please allow 24 hours for a response via WhatsApp or email to make a reservation.
One-hour guided tour for an overview of the property: a tour needs to be booked with a minimum of three days notice, for a minimum donation of $25.
“Birding and learning” tours: need to be booked with a minimum of one week notice for a half-day, full-day or two-day experience with a naturalist guide (see flyer below).
