Our gender pillar is reflected in our longest-standing environmental education program, Women Committed to the Earth. One of the areas of work within this program is a collaboration with the “Network of Community Tree Nurseries” run by Rocío Seisdedos of our partner organization, Soy Conservación. FCEA and Soy Conservación submitted a joint proposal to the Ford Foundation’s environmental funds (Donativos Ambientales Ford 2024), and we are proud to report we were successfully awarded funding to support the continued growth of this initiative!
