We are always honoured to work with the talented videographer Jenn Lee, who was with us this past July to film the full breadth of Finca Cántaros Environmental Association’s projects. She worked her magic in collaboration with FCEA Communications Director Robin Pascoe (aka the wonderful mother of FCEA Director Lilly Briggs) to create this feature video. A special shout-out to Debra Reynolds of the science communication consulting firm Chirp & Tell for creating the fabulous tree analogy and graphic. While you can see this video on our home page (along with all the new web banners on our different pillar pages), we can’t highlight the feature enough, so check it out by clicking below.
We have mentioned the Motus Wildlife Tracking System in multiple enewsletters, social media posts, and on our website, and how with our Motus station at Finca Cántaros we contribute to this important collaborative global effort (run by the organization Birds Canada) that aims to improve our understanding of bird movements. We encourage you to check out this great 2-pager by Debra Reynolds of Chirp & Tell for a refresher about how FCEA is using Motus in its work!
