In June, Director of Finca Cántaros Environmental Association (FCEA), Lilly Briggs, completed a successful Lucy Loves Nature book tour in British Columbia, Canada! She visited several schools, including Cove Cliff Elementary School, Cleveland Elementary School, and Urban Academy, creating opportunities for learning, cultural exchange, and raising awareness about the importance of environmental conservation. Lucy Loves Nature: The Search for the Mysterious Potoo aims to inspire young people to strengthen their connection with nature while highlighting the fundamental role of women in conservation and science. The book was illustrated by talented Costa Rican illustrator Vicky Ramos. In addition, Lilly took time to share the FCEA mission.

Lilly also did a community outreach event to friends, family and the broader public interested in  FCEA’s work at Highland’s Church in North Vancouver.
