Hace más de 15 años, comenzamos a sembrar curiosidad y amor por las aves y la naturaleza en las aulas de este rincón del sur de Costa Rica. Hoy, el currículo de Detectives de Aves se renueva e integra nuevos temas como la Red de Monitoreo de Vida Silvestre Motus de la organización Birds Canada, que permite seguir los viajes invisibles de las aves migratorias.
Niñas y niños ahora trazan rutas, descifran patrones y se maravillan con las historias reales que nos cuentan estas viajeras aladas.
Gracias a cada docente, familia y estudiante por mantener viva esta aventura educativa que une ciencia, imaginación y territorio.

🇨🇦 BirdSleuth keeps growing in the classrooms of Coto Brus 🕵️♂️🐦
More than 12 years ago, we began planting seeds of curiosity and love for birds and nature in the classrooms of southern Costa Rica.
Today, the BirdSleuth curriculum continues to evolve, as we are now incorporating new content like the Motus Wildlife Tracking System of the organization Birds Canada, which lets us follow the invisible journeys of migratory birds.
Children trace routes, discover patterns, and marvel at the real-life stories of these feathered travelers.
Thanks to every teacher, family, and student for keeping this educational adventure alive—where science, imagination, and place come together.
