🇨🇷Este sábado 9 de agosto, la Asociación Ambiental Finca Cántaros vivió una jornada llena de asombro y conexión en la sesión tradicional del grupo Mujeres Comprometidas con la Tierra. Con binoculares en mano y el entusiasmo de siempre, nos adentramos en los senderos de la finca guiadas por el biólogo regente David Rodríguez, quien con su conocimiento y explicaciones acertadas nos abrió una ventana al fascinante mundo de la biodiversidad local.
Durante el recorrido, tuvimos el privilegio de observar especies extraordinarias: un perezoso descansando entre las ramas, ágiles guatusas desplazándose entre el follaje, pizotes curiosos, murciélagos, ranas y una gran variedad de aves. Invitamos a más mujeres a sumarse a este hermoso espacio, donde la naturaleza, el aprendizaje y la amistad se entrelazan para crear experiencias que inspiran y fortalecen nuestro compromiso con la Tierra. 🌿💚
Los niños vivieron la experiencia con gran alegría, explorando, aprendiendo y compartiendo su asombro a cada paso. La jornada concluyó con una pequeña pero emotiva celebración adelantada por el Día de las Madres, que incluyó una actividad de arte ambiental, en la que pintamos con creatividad y cariño, inspirados por todo lo que habíamos visto y sentido en la caminata.
🇨🇦This Saturday, August 9, Finca Cántaros Environmental Association enjoyed a day filled with wonder and connection during the traditional session of our Women Committed to the Earth group. With binoculars in hand and our usual enthusiasm, we ventured into the finca’s trails guided by David Rodríguez, our regent biologist, whose deep knowledge and clear explanations opened a window into the fascinating world of local biodiversity.
During the walk, we had the privilege of seeing extraordinary species: a sloth resting among the branches, agile agoutis moving through the foliage, curious coatis, bats, frogs, and a wide variety of birds. We invite more women to join this beautiful space where nature, learning, and friendship come together to create experiences that inspire and strengthen our commitment to the Earth. 🌿💚
Children also enjoyed the experience with joy, exploring, learning, and sharing their sense of wonder at every step. The day ended with a small but heartfelt early celebration of Mother’s Day, including an environmental art activity where we painted with creativity and love, inspired by everything we had seen and felt during the walk.
